Community
Coming to Camp Hazen YMCA is one of
the most important choices you'll ever make. Living in our
camp community is a unique and enthralling experience. We
strive to make every single camper's time here at Hazen the most
memorable part of their year. Our camp is divided into 5 villages - clusters of similar age cabins: Junianta
younger boys (grades 3 though 6) Campers are able to request having a friend in their cabin when they register.

Living & Dining Camp Style
Campers will enjoy a unique living experience in our clean, modern and spacious cabins. Living with eight campers and two counselors adds to the fun, spirit, and friendship of the summer experience. Cabin life is crucial in our view...we spend a great deal of time and attention in training and supporting the cabin counselors. The cabin group is like "family" at camp and it is important that everyone is part of the family while here. Each day is a
lesson in responsibility and personal growth. Counselors guide
the campers in cabin clean-up, observance of the schedule, and
decision-making in daily activities. Evenings are spent
with the cabin or village group in a variety of exciting games,
campfires, or all-camp events, and end back in the cabin with a
counselor-led "cabin chat." Topics range from the daily
activities to environmental issues, and from personal values to
future dreams.
