LEA's on the Road

By participating in the “LEAs On The Road” program, you will have a full three weeks of community service combined with leadership workshops and seminars while at camp and on the road.

You will spend the first half of the first week at camp preparing for your trip to either Pennsylvania or DC. You will also begin to participate in a handful of leadership workshops. Once you depart for your community service adventure, you will be privy to a variety of tasks whether it be helping to put up drywall, landscaping, painting, preparing meals for a large soup kitchen, sorting clothing donations, or even serving breakfast or lunch to the needy, and the list goes on. Upon returning from your trip, you will complete your last few leadership workshops and be able to put all of your experiences into perspective. What a way to spend three weeks of your summer! Spend time helping others and building self-confidence and leadership skills along the way!

"I never understood the power of making a difference until I saw what could be achieved.

Working with my group has been a life changing experience that has inspired me to think more about what I'd like to do at College."
