Traditional Day Camp
Real Camp. No Substitute.
Entering 1st-7th grade
Campers entering 1st–7th grade jump into a wide mix of activities—from creative arts and land sports to outdoor pursuits and water adventures. Each day brings something new, whether it’s crafting, climbing, fishing, archery, or time on the lake with swimming, canoeing, and kayaking for older campers. Daily swim lessons ensure every child builds confidence and stays safe in the water.
Our caring, well‑trained staff come from across the country and around the world, creating a warm, supportive community with a 1:6 staff‑to‑camper ratio. With 150 acres of woods, fields, and waterfront, Camp Hazen offers an incredible setting for exploration and play—and safety is always our top priority.

Leadership Program
Leaders In Training
Entering 8th-9th grade
A new Leadership Training Program at Day Camp gives rising teens the chance to step into more responsibility while still enjoying the fun of camp. Participants learn how to work with younger campers, practice communication and teamwork, and build confidence through hands‑on leadership experiences. With guidance from experienced staff, they get a behind‑the‑scenes look at how camp runs and discover what it means to be a positive role model. It’s a meaningful next step for campers who are ready to grow, contribute, and lead.
